Sunset Pond <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Parking: <\/strong> Cornwall Park – Entrance on Meridian at Squalicum Parkway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trail Instructions: \u00a0<\/strong>Head past the shelter on the trail that parallels Birchwood Avenue. \u00a0Cross Birchwood Avenue and walk along Orchard Drive for about a block. \u00a0Turn right on the railroad bed trail toward James Street. \u00a0Cross James Street, continue walking the same direction until you come to a gravel path off to the right. \u00a0Proceed over the foot bridge toward Sunset Pond. \u00a0Turn around and retrace this route. \u00a0RT is 2.5 miles.\u00a0 \u00a0 Parking: \u00a0<\/strong>Squalicum Creek Park<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trail Instructions: <\/strong>Head toward Squalicum Way, cross and proceed up West Street. \u00a0Turn left on Washington Street and proceed into Elizabeth Park at Walnut Street. \u00a0Loop through the park and exit where you entered. \u00a0Proceed\u00a0on Washington\u00a0to Williams and turn right. \u00a0Proceed to W. North and turn left. \u00a0Proceed to West and turn right. \u00a0RT is 2 miles and can be extended by doing a loop around Squalicum Park upon your return. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Parking: \u00a0<\/strong>Barkley Village<\/p>\n\n\n\n Trail Instructions:<\/strong>\u00a0Head toward the railroad trail, turn right. \u00a0Proceed west toward I-5 and Memorial Park, which is after you\u2019ve crossed I-5. \u00a0The loop through the park does not have a trail but is on lawn, which was fairly wet when we did it. There are interesting trees and Sunnyland School in addition to the Memorial Markers. \u00a0Return via the same route.
