Lummi Island Outing

Joan Ofteness and Martie Lopez have planned an outing to Artist Ann Morris’ Sculpture Woods and the Lummi Island Art Gallery for Saturday, June 2. Departure from the Safeway store at 9:15 a.m. and returning later in the day according to your carpool member’s decision. We will walk one mile to the Sculpture Woods, view the art, eat lunch and return to the ferry terminal to get into the cars to travel to the other side of the island for the gallery.

More details will follow including date and process for signing-up.  Group will be limited to 20 people (5 cars).

Walking Friends Annual Cookie Exchange

Happy Holidays!

The cookie exchange will be on Friday, December 8 at 10 am at  Community Food Co-op downtown on the corner of Holly and Forest Street. All are welcome! There is parking behind the building off the alley.

If you are participating in the cookie exchange please bring 3 dozen cookies to exchange.  It is helpful to label the cookies and the ingredients.  If not exchanging cookies feel free to bring a treat to share or just come and mingle with friends.
