Walking Friends Annual Cookie Exchange

Happy Holidays!

The cookie exchange will be on Friday, December 8 at 10 am at  Community Food Co-op downtown on the corner of Holly and Forest Street. All are welcome! There is parking behind the building off the alley.

If you are participating in the cookie exchange please bring 3 dozen cookies to exchange.  It is helpful to label the cookies and the ingredients.  If not exchanging cookies feel free to bring a treat to share or just come and mingle with friends.

Walking Friends are all invited to our 2017 Annual Meeting at the REI meeting room on Monday, October 30th at 10:15 am.   Help set the agenda for next year, take care of a little business, and see your friends.  New this year online membership registration!  Come learn about how we are simplifying the work your leaders do for you.

 

Trail Work Party – Friday, October 13th

Join us on Friday, October 13th, following the Squalicum Creek Walk, to work with Bellingham Parks and Recreation to remove invasive weeds from the Bay to Baker trail.  They will furnish gloves and tools, but recommend you wear long sleeves and pants.  We will meet at the top of the stairs above the parking lot where we meet for the walk.
