Save the Date – Tour of Ann Morris Sculpture Woods on 9/2/2023

Save the date for a day trip to Lummi Island for a tour of Ann Morris’s Sculpture Woods on Saturday, September 2, 2023. This tour is for first timers only (limited to 15). If you have gone in the past and want to go again, a wait list will be available.

We will ride the Lummi Island Ferry as foot passengers and walk approximately 1 mile from the Ferry dock to Ann Morris’s famous “Sculpture Woods” featuring 16 large scale bronze sculptures and a small gallery in a beautiful wooded setting (https://sculpturewoods.wwu.edu/).  Martie Lopez, fellow walker and docent, will lead a tour of the collection that will last about an hour. After completing our sculpture visit we can all enjoy sack lunches at a lovely site with benches overlooking the water or elsewhere on the grounds.  Ferries depart from the island on the hour.

Watch for an email with more details about the outing as well as instructions on how to sign up.
